What’s the Best Cleaner for Your Hardwood Floors?

Shaw Floors recommends (and Flowers Flooring agrees) that Shaw’s R2X Hard Surface Cleaner is the best cleaner for your solid and engineered hardwood floors. It quickly and easily removes dirt, grease and scuffs and does not streak or leave a sticky residue.

 

Shaw recommends the Shaw R2X Hard Surface Cleaner be applied sparingly in small sections on the floor using the mist setting on the bottle. Remove the cleaner and soil with a lightly dampened terry cloth mop. Be sure to change out the mop head if it becomes wet. Flowers Flooring recommends to always vacuum the floors prior to using the hard surface cleaner. This will pick up any debris on the floor that could cause scratches. Do not allow excess cleaner to remain on the floors surface as this may permanently damage the wood fiber.
